Bongani Khanyile is an admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa and is a Director of Bongani Khanyile Attorneys. He specialises in Employment Law. Bongani graduated from the University of Johannesburg in 2010 with an LLB Degree and further obtained a postgraduate Diploma in Corporate Law specialising in the Companies Act with the same University.
Bongani is an analyst of The Thinker Magazine where he is being published on labour law. He is a board member of Witkoppen Health and Hygiene and the Bible League of Southern Africa. He has also served for five (5) years as a board member of Alberton Child Welfare.
Bongani is a conference speaker and is often invited as a panellist on labour law related topics. He has made numerous television appearances which include SABC 2’s “Rands with Sense” where he is a resident expert on the show. He has been interviewed on Radio stations including Eldos FM.
Bongani was invited in 2014 by the Indian Society of Labour Economics (ISLE) to speak at its 56th Annual Conference in Ranchi, India. The same organisation published his paper as part of the conference pack to all the 500 delegates from different countries that had converged there.
Bongani is a Pan Africanist who believes in Africa and its potential in areas of politics and economics. He believes strongly that there will be a true liberation of the mind of Africans, from Cape to Cairo, Madagascar to Morocco.
Bongani is a growing brand in the field of Labour Law and is making a name for himself as a rising star and is certainly tipped as being part of the next generation of jurists and legal activists. Bongani is a member of SASLAW and is involved in their Pro Bono Project.
